Where: Brauntex Theatre
When: Saturday, February 23, 2008
Who: Male and Female parts available, Chorus and Leads Available
What: One minute prepared monologue and 16 bars of song expected.
Time: Check in will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and we will hear monologues, songs and see a small dance (if applicable) until 1:00 p.m. There may be a call-back later in the day.
Show: Every weekend in June, Thursday through Sunday.

AUDITION TIPS:

1.  Dress nice: Auditions are like a job interview. Think about the play you are auditioning for and dress appropriately.

2.  Speak Clearly: The most important thing for a live theatre actor is speaking to be understood and heard.

3.  Pay attention to Director and Helpers: There is a lot going on in an audition. It is up to you to make sure that you understand what you are doing and what the director needs to see from you.  Also, do not be afraid to ask if you have not gotten to read a part that you wanted to.
